Calamity Jane

Calamity Jane was an extremely hard pit boss for the players who already reached stronger leagues. Using White Shaman warlord was the only reliable way to do at least some damage per run.

Tempus Fugit

The initial barricade of enemy buildings does not allow hitting the boss. Also all these building have very nasty effects, such as doing damage to friendly warlord and friendly heroes. So it's very important to destroy them as soon as possible. Trixy's skill ("Kill all wounded enemies") can be used for that if you are lucky to have some AoE damagers available for early deployment. Spider Queen warlord is probably even better thanks to her poison.

Diaochan Plum Blossom

You need to get established fast so you can kill the Red Woman early and often since that is the only way to deal damage to the warlord without hero abilities. Heroes that do direct warlord damage through abilities and heroes that can keep those ones alive either through Buff HP or Mental Shield are a great help here as they can save a ton of time(without it this can take in excess of 60 turns in some cases).
