- Reason: February 26, 2021 Game Update
Raid is one of the three Game Modes in Mighty Party. As a part of the update (July 20, 2020), this fight mode becomes available for the players much earlier (League 20) and alternate with other fight modes, which allows many players familiarize themselves with their content and receive valuable rewards. The rotation of the cycle goes as Dark Tower, The Pit, and Raids, which means that each mode is available for 1 week. After this period, a new mode opens and access to the previous one disappears.
Selection of the opponents and the rewards depend on the total might of the players collection. You will be placed with stronger opponents for the next match if you have successful one, while you will face with weaker opponents if you are destroyed.
How It Works
First things first, Raid does not start unless you touch the Raid icon in the game. Since there is no undo, we highly recommend you to be sure that it is the convenient time of the day before clicking it.
When the Raid icon is clicked, you will see a list of players of nine, including yours, which they will be your opponents in the Raid. Selection of the opponents depends on the total might of the players collection. Later, you will be put on a map with your opponents, each represented by a castle, and you use your troops to attack other castles and to defend your castle (Picture 1). You should send more troops than the defense of the attacked castle for success so that you can liberate the citizens and increase your points. If you send less, then you will lose some amount of your troops, which you will not be able to use the lost troop during the Raid anymore. Keep in mind that the defense of the attacked castle can change until your troop arrives.

You can always use the Scout button to scout the defense of the castles before the attack, and the attack sent to your castle so that you can set a proper defense. As a defender, you can always increase the defense of your castle by using Elixir in case you are under attack, while the amount of troop which is sent remains as it is.
Usually, the attacking party needs between 1h 30min to 2h to reach the enemy castle. If there is not enough time for your troops to return, you will get notified. Because you can not get points even though you successfully attack if your troops can not turn back to your castle on time.
Once a party reaches an enemy castle, the battle begins. After the troops of the attacking party are compared with the garrison, the highest number wins. If the attacker had fewer troops, (s)he will lose a significant portion of troops, and the defender gets to keep his citizens. If, however, the attacker has more troops than the garrison, it's the defender who will lose a significant portion of his/her troops as well as some of his citizens, which usually around a third of what he started with. Of those citizens lost, half will be added to the citizen points of the attacker (top bar on the screen), while the other half will be added to their castle as soon as the attacking party returns. That makes the citizens still contestable by a counter-attack.
Battle Calculation
The formula for lost troops of the stronger side is:
stronger lost troops = weaker troops * ((stronger troops - weaker troops) / stronger troops)
The formula for lost troops of the weaker side is:
weaker lost troops = weaker troops * ((stronger troops - weaker troops) / stronger troops) ^ 0.375
